Show up in AI shopping assistants

Two self-updating files (llms.txt and a JSON catalog) help ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity understand your store and recommend your products accurately.

More and more shoppers ask tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot what to buy. To help them understand your store and recommend your products with the right prices and links, every Apexfy store comes with two ready-made files that keep themselves up to date.

The two files

FileWhat's in it
Store summary /llms.txtYour store name and description, currency, the countries you ship to, payment options, links to your returns, shipping and privacy policies, your categories, and your products with prices and links (up to 300)
Product catalog /products.jsonEvery active product with a photo: title, link, description, price and compare-at price, currency, in stock or sold out, photos, category

Where to find them

  1. Open Sales channels from the menu.
  2. The AI shopping assistants card has the link to both files. Click Copy (1) or Open to see what's inside.

There's nothing to set up: both files work for every published store and refresh about every 10 minutes after you change your products. They're listed in robots.txt and in your store pages' code so AI tools can find them on their own.

They never include cost prices, stock counts or anything about your customers. If your store is locked with a password (password page), both are off until you open it.
  • Write a clear description for every product: material, size, what it's for. The first 500 characters go into the catalog.
  • Add a photo to every product; products without one are left out.
  • Fill in your store description in Settings and your Returns and Shipping pages — they're the first things AI tools read about you.
  • If your store has more than one language, each language has its own files (for example /en/llms.txt).
No one can guarantee a particular tool will recommend your store, but clear, structured information improves your chances and keeps AI tools from quoting wrong prices or links.
