Apexfy Studio and 3D product views

Give products a 3D view shoppers can spin and zoom, plus “View in your space” on phones, and keep track of your Studio credits for upcoming tools.

Apexfy Studio helps you show products better than photos alone. Available now: a free 3D product view using a file you upload. Coming soon: Try it on (shoppers see clothes or shoes on their own photo), product showcase videos and 3D from product photos, all paid with Studio credits.

Studio credits

Open Apexfy Studio from the menu.

Studio credits (1): every store gets 20 free credits once. Below that you'll see what you've used this month.
Studio tools (2): each upcoming tool shows its cost in credits. The 3D view with your own file is free and never uses credits.
Monthly limit (store owner or staff with the Finance permission): set the most credits that can be spent in a month, so there are no surprises once shoppers can try products on.

When your free credits run out, Studio actions are paid straight from your Apexfy Wallet ($0.10 per credit), so there are no separate packs to buy. Your monthly limit covers wallet-paid actions too.

Add a 3D view to a product

You need a GLB file (up to 15 MB). Get one from your designer or manufacturer, or from a 3D scanning app on your phone that exports GLB.

Scroll to 3D product views. Search for the product if the list is long.
Click Upload 3D file (1) next to the product and choose the file. The view goes live on the product page right away.
The toggle (2) shows or hides the view in your store without deleting the file.
Preview (3) opens the view inside the dashboard so you can check it. Replace uploads a new file, and the trash button removes the view.

Lighter files open faster for shoppers. Aim for under 5 MB when you can.

What shoppers see

Product pages show a View in 3D button (1) on the product image, in every theme.

When a shopper taps it, the image turns into a 3D view they can spin with a finger or mouse and zoom. The close button takes them back to the photos.

On phones there's also a View in your space button. It opens the camera and places the product at its real size in front of the shopper (Android and iPhone).

The 3D file only loads when the shopper taps the button, so it never slows down the product page.

Who can upload 3D files? The store owner and staff with the Products permission.
Who can buy credits or set the monthly limit? The store owner and staff with the Finance permission.
The 3D view isn't showing in my store? Make sure the toggle next to the product is on and the product is published.
