Visitors, pages and live view

Which countries your visitors come from, which pages they land on and which ones sell, and who's on your store right now.

Analytics has two tabs for visitors: Visitors & pages for any period you pick, and Live view for what's happening right now.

Visitors & pages

Open Analytics → Visitors & pages and pick a period (today, 7 days, 30 days…) or set two dates.

Visitors by country and landing pages
Visitors by country and landing pages
  1. Visitors by country: how many visitors came from each country, how many added to cart, reached checkout and bought, and the conversion rate. Next to it you'll see orders and sales for the same country (based on the shipping address).
  2. Landing pages: the first page a visitor opened. If your ads send people to different pages, this is where you see which page turns more visitors into buyers.
  3. Top pages and Views by page type (home, products, categories, blog, cart, checkout…).
  4. Devices and browsers: phone or computer. "Facebook / Instagram / TikTok app" means the visitor opened your link inside the app, usually from an ad.
Lots of visitors from a country but no sales? Make sure you ship there and offer the right payment methods, or stop advertising there.

Live view

Open Analytics → Live view. The page refreshes on its own every 20 seconds.

NumberWhat it means
Visitors right nowPeople who browsed your store in the last 5 minutes
Active cartsAdded something to the cart but haven't reached checkout (last 10 minutes)
Checking outOpened checkout and haven't finished yet
PurchasedPlaced an order in the last 10 minutes

Below that: sales today, orders and visitors in your store's time zone, Viewing now (the pages people have open), where they are, where they came from (Facebook, Google, direct…), and today's latest orders.

Visits show up within about a minute. We never store a visitor's name, phone number or IP address: the country comes from their approximate location, and each visitor is just a random ID in their browser. Visits from the design editor and from search bots aren't counted.
These numbers are visible to the store owner and to staff with the Orders permission in Team. Profit and costs are in Real profit, and ad sources in Ad spend.
