Your dashboard on your phone
Install the Apexfy dashboard on your phone or computer as an app, so it opens full screen and fast from an icon on your home screen.
The Apexfy dashboard works as an app on phones and computers, with no app store download. Once installed, it opens from an icon on your home screen, full screen and fast, even on a weak connection.
On Android and computers (Chrome or Edge)
- Open the dashboard and sign in.
- Click your account button at the top, then Install the app on this device.
Install from the account menu - Click Install in the window that appears. The Apexfy icon shows up on your home screen.
On iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open the dashboard in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow) at the bottom.
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Long-press the app icon to jump straight to Orders or Add product (on Android and computers).
Your data (orders, products and customers) always comes straight from the server; the app only saves the dashboard's layout so it opens quickly. (Notifications)
New-order notifications on your phone
Get a notification for every new order, even when the app is closed:
- Open the app (on iPhone, install it to your Home Screen first as shown above).
- Tap the bell at the top, then Turn on order notifications on this device, and allow notifications when your phone asks.
- Tap Send a test to make sure it works. Tapping a notification opens that order.
Turn it on for each phone or computer you use. Staff get notifications only if they have the orders permission, and in-store (POS) sales don't send one.
